What's the best way to improve New Jersey's natural resources?

Get involved in our events!

NJACD and New Jersey’s soil conservation districts host events throughout the year that offer opportunities to learn about the natural world and agriculture, connect with your community, and help improve New Jersey’s natural resources for today and future generations.

Local Work Group Meetings

Join us for an important opportunity to shape the future of conservation in New Jersey! The New Jersey Conservation Districts are organizing a series of Local Work Group (LWG) meetings across the state. These meetings are a vital part of the locally led conservation process,  and policy development. This is your chance to discuss current USDA Farm Bill programs, administered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and address conservation needs and resource concerns specific to New Jersey.

The outcomes of these discussions will be compiled into a summary for the State Technical Committee, which advises NRCS on implementing the natural resource conservation provisions of the Farm Bill legislation. Don’t miss this chance to have your voice heard and contribute to meaningful conservation efforts.
